Refund & Cancellation Policy

Guidelines for Made-to-Measure & Custom Tailoring Orders • LIBAS TAILOR

1. Nature of Bespoke & Custom Tailoring

At LIBAS TAILOR, every Sherwani, bespoke suit, Indo-Western ensemble, and kurta is individually drafted, patterned, and cut to the specific anatomical measurements and style preferences of the client. Because each piece is personalized and unique, garments cannot be resold or returned for a standard off-the-shelf cash refund.

2. Order Cancellation Window

We understand that circumstances may occasionally change. The following policies apply depending on the production stage of your order:

Prior to Fabric Cutting: If you notify us within 24 to 48 hours of order confirmation and before fabric cutting or custom sourcing has commenced, cancellation or style modifications may be accommodated. Any non-recoverable material procurement costs may be deducted from the advance deposit.
Post Fabric Cutting: Once fabric has been drafted and cut to your unique patterns, the order cannot be cancelled, and the advance payment is non-refundable.

3. Fitting & Alteration Commitment

Rather than offering retail returns, LIBAS TAILOR is dedicated to achieving the proper silhouette and comfort through meticulous fitting trials:

We provide trial fitting sessions at our atelier in Shamshad Market, Aligarh, to inspect drape, length, chest contour, and collar stance.
Necessary tailoring adjustments identified during these scheduled fittings are carried out at no additional tailoring charge.
Substantial design changes requested after cutting (e.g. altering jacket lapel shape, modifying collar style, or changing complete garment length beyond allowable seam allowance) may incur additional artisanal fees.

4. Fabric Discrepancies & Craft Defects

All fabrics and finished garments undergo multi-point inspection prior to delivery. In the rare event that a verifiable manufacturing defect, seam failure, or major fabric discrepancy attributable to the atelier is identified, we will prioritize rectifying the garment promptly or offering an agreeable resolution.

Business Policy Notice: Specific deposit percentages, custom fabric sourcing terms, and festive rush deadlines are agreed upon during your in-person or WhatsApp consultation.
